Older bros (35+)...are you on HRT or NOT?

I'm curious because I'm worried my recovery ability (it took me 6 months to get my total test back to 400 after last cycle) isn't keeping pace with my desire to cycle (I'm trying to "fully recover" test levels before going on again). Its also limiting gains and forcing me to spend more time with low test symptoms than I would like.

So I'm wondering if any other older bros (I'm 36) who have been doing gear for a while still maintain relatively quick test recoveries and continue to make gains while being completely clean for half the year or so? Or, does recovery ability slow for most bros at some age so that HRT becomes the only viable option to keep gaining?

Am I making any sense??

I'm over 35 and do either one or two cycles per year. I don't have any recovery problems or delays so far BUT my cycles are pretty low and generic. Sometimes I have a labido lull after a cycle but never anything major and it doesn't last long. Clomid and Zinc help. I think since I started taking Zinc post cycle, I've had No problems.

As Mick Jagger once said, “what a drag it is getting old.” heh heh. Anyway, to answer your question, Yes, I’m 41 and began HRT when I turned 40. Also, yes, it does become harder to recover as you get older. At least that’s what I’ve experienced. There are some tricks you can use to help you along if you’re not ready for HRT yet. Do a search on Mr. Nobody over at AnabolicFitness. He’s got it down.

You don't have to be old to need HRT. My vasectomy at 25 did me in, 31 and I need it.

Bro, what were your test levels when you went on HRT? How bad were your symptoms? I've had issues generally since my vasectomy as well.

That board seems to be down?!

I'm 36 and I'd like to hear some good responses on this too. I took 10weeks off recently and after the 10th week I felt like I had about as much testosterone in me as a 12 year old girl. I'd hate to think that would be the norm if I went off completely.

Why not just get your Test & Free Test levels checked, instead of guessing about whether or not you need to be on HRT?

Bro, I have and I do. The value I mentioned above of 400 total (I had free too, can't remember what it was) was just prior to my last cycle. I will get tested again in a couple weeks. My question was more related to; can older bros keep on gaining without going onto HRT, or, due to lower natural test and longer recovery periods, do most end up on HRT?

Bump for 40butpumpin, solidspine, sofageorge, ironmaster, Nelson (:bawling: ), & other older bros.....
