is there any way to reduce the fat?

You could try substituting half or all of the peanut butter with Peanut Wonder. Can't remember who makes it (think its Tree of Life?), but it's a peanut spread made with defatted peanut flower, peanuts and glycerine. Taste is pretty good. The bar recipe sounds good but the fat content is kinda high for what I'm looking for.

okay thanks..I thought the fat to protein ratio was crap(no offense) but I don't need that much fat...thanks for the info fellas

For my fellow broke college bros , instead of whey powder , use powderd milk , its the cheapest protein bar in the world

Those calorie breakdowns.... is that per bar? cause 300gms of carbs per bar is a ton. Maaadone!! I'm making some of these tonight. Thanks for posting this recipe.

I made some last night but I haven't tried them yet. I found I had to almost double the PB and Honey for the consistency to come out right though.

I think that is because of the protein you used. Did you use a high carb protein? Their much thicker. Mine came out perfect. I used Champion Nutrition's heavy weight gainer 900 chocolate.. 2 scoops is 101gm of carbs. Havn't ate one yet. I will later. The batter tasted awsome though.

Do you realize how much money you can save by making these rather than buying protein bars. Shit......
