Nothing has worked; what to do to lose weight?

I'm 6'0, 215, 16y/o male. I lift mon/wed/fri, but nothing extreme, just work on the arms, situps in 50rep sets between weights, legs, not too much, I'm not trying to get super bulky, just slim down

I eat a rather high amount of carbs (rice) and I usually eat buffalo wings along with rice with dinner...precooked and, put in the oven for 20 min sort of thing

I don't eat breakfast, usually have a diet coke for the caffeine to keep me awake for the first half of classes during the day. I don't eat cereal in the morning because it gives me gas. I'll alternate between a small lunch (milkshake) and an actual sorta big meal for lunch every other day. I eat snacks and cereal intermittently during the afternoon and at night, like ritz crackers, apples, and honey nut cheerios (somewhat good source of fiber) and stuff. I try to drink as much water as I can and I try to cut down on juice because of the calories. I have a strange sleeping schedule (usually around 5pm-1am) so that may affect things

I think I have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) so that may have something to do with it, though I took a blook test that came out negative which I think is a bunch of crap.

Any suggestions as to slim down? Nothing has worked so far :(

hmmm...i dont seem to sound harsh but rice and wings isnt the best choice to lose fat man...nowchicken wings alone :D ....

first START EATING BREAKFAST!!! dont even call it breakfast call it meal 1. have like 5-7 meals a day. small high protein,low-moderate carbs,moderate fat. and u should lose weight. also read ALOT! use the search function it is gonna teach u ALOT!

and i dont think your hypoglycemic....maybe if u ate breakfast u wouldnt think your hypo :)
 
It sounds like either 1) you are clueless to dieting and dropping weight, 2)you lack self control, or 3)this post is a joke.

First of all, if it was that easy to get big, more people would be. It takes years of hard work, not a few hard leg workouts. If you want to drop weight, you need to increase your lean bodymass and do it by starting a weight lifting rutine and doing cardio three to five days a week. Eat five to six small well balanced meals consisting of complex carbs, low fat, and quality protein.

If you want serious help, give us an idea of how much effort you want to put into this and more people will help you..

keto ?calories count or no ? and post wndow

does calories count or u wil always be burning fat when eating yolks and hotdogs...and what about post workout eating? since i eat low carb all day will eating anythin --if i cant get dextrose---like corn syrup and sugar be ok?? ...like the post b4 the guy in keto ate a twinkie wit whey lol is that ok ...??not turning to fat whasoever? thanksssss
 
Eat breakfast. Also eat regularly throughout the day. Less of the fatty foods like buffalo wings - eat lean grilled chicken or turkey breast fillets rather than wings.

Watch what you're eating, but don't do anything extreme as you're still growing (16 years old) and you need a decent balanced diet.

Diet coke on en empty stomach in the morning?! Yeeuuucchh! If you had a decent breakfast you probably wouldn't need the diet coke to keep you awake.

Try to build more lean body mass by weights. Also do cardio on some days to just burn calories and geet your metabolism up.

Regarding not doing too much weights as you don't want to get super bulky. It is very hard to get super bulky and as has been said earlier it takes years and years of hard work. You're not going to suddenly turn into a musclebound ape overnight, so don't be stingy on hitting the weights. Building muscle is the best way to burn calories in the long run.

At the end of the day to lose weight you must burn more calories than you take in every day.

If you must snack, have healthy snacks not fatty ones. Better still have a few small meals during the days instead of snacking on chips or other fatty foods.

Also, if you are worried about hypoglycemia, get a proper series of blood tests done by a doctor. Not one of those do it yourself blood test things.

LoL, please rephrase with proper english and pronunciation because that made very little sense to me.

1) Yes, calories are and important part of your diet.
2) Corn Syrup, pure sugar, hyrogenated oils are typically avoided on a lot of low carb diets.

qlat - I'm by no means an expert, but heres my observations.
1) Your meals are to slanted towards the end of the day. You NEED to eat breakfast.
2) Your foods are both high in fat and high in carbs. You can't have you cake and eat it too. What are your favorite foods? (not junk foods). There are a lot of ways you can take your diet, but you need to modify your eating habits.
 
listen to what these people say, eat small, frequent, and clean. Cheating every now and then isn't going to kill you. This is the best time to work on your body, your metabloism is at it's peak probably, and you've got tons of test flowing in your blood. go for it. and eat a little smarter.
