I don't see the appeal of a fast vehicle if you can only go fast in a straight line. Short burst of speed don't impress me, attaining speed and then maintaining it are more important. Accelleration is all fine and good, but if you have to slow down to make that corner at the end of the straightaway, it's pointless.
