Newbie - 1st cycle help

I am a newbie when it comes to posting, although I have read and searched these topics with no clear answer...

I have been reading about first cycles for over a year now and I see contradictions all over the place so i am turning to you guys for help.

A little about myself - I am 28 6'2 210 12-14% bf. I have been lifting consistently for 5 years. I cheat alot on the diet, but I have always had trouble putting on weight so the extra calories don't necessarily hurt. I would like to get to about 245 - not all at once obviously.

I am looking for advice on a first stack that is no longer than 8 weeks, isn't too complex (I want to see how my body reacts before getting too complex) and minimizes the number of injections per week.

Based upon what I have read Test is critical in any cycle and depending upon who you talk to, the main drawback of Deca is deca dick (which could be offset by the test)

What would be the best to run with Deca - Sust, Test Cyp? or is deca the wrong way to go altogether?

I appreciate all the information that everyone has already provided!
 
Actually, deca dick is not that common of a problem. The main problems from deca are progestin sides. Water retention, increases estragen sensitivity, etc. There is no reason you can't do test enathate or cyp alone for a first cycle and make excellent gains. Deca is a bit weaker than test, and honestly will contribute less to the overall gains of your cycle.
 
In my opinion you should run sust250 for 8 weeks, injecting 250mg once a week. I think since you are wanting to see how your body will react this is a good plan. Sust stays active in the body for 3-4weeks, so injecting once a week will allow the test levels to gradually increase with each injection. This gradual increase wil allow you to see results and evaluate how your body responds to the test.

I realize most people like sust @ no less than 500mg a week, but I have known several people who had significant gains in muscle and strength with only 250mg a week. If your body responds well, then on your next cycle you may want to increase to 500mg weekly.

You may also consider stacking Var @ 40mg a day for weeks 3-8. This gives you the first two weeks with only sust, so you can evaluate how your body is reacting.

Var is also an excellent stack with sust for adding lean muscle which you should be able to keep after you come off.

Usually people do not need antiE's with only 250mg weekly, but you may want something on hand in case you see symptoms of Gyno later in the cycle (not likely).

Of course, you know your diet and training is important in order to acheive gains in muscle.

Thanks for the input, I subscribe to the keep it simple theory when doing new things and move on from there. I appreciate the honest advice.
 
you could do:

test/dbols

deca/dbols

deca/test

test alone, deca alone

I'd do either a sust/dbols or sust deca. Have some novaldex just in case. And if using Deca, some proviron if by any badluck your libido say goodbye...
 
Here is your problem. You want a short cycle with long acting esters (fewest possible injects/week) I would go with sust @ 375-500mg/week for 10 weeks. Throw in dbol @ 20mg/day for the first 4 weeks if you really want but not neccessary by any means.
 
30 mg of d-bol for six weeks and 400-600 mg of test for thw whole eight weeks. Simple but very effective if you eat right and train hard.
 
Go with:
500mg sustanon / week
10wks

This was my first cycle and I think I would have been disappointed with the gains if I only did 250mg / week.
