Hey guys ,

I just transfered into a new school and I'm having alot of trouble keeping a good diet. I have a fridge, a microwave, and a toaster oven so I need you guys to add any food you can think of... I'm so used to cooking chicken and meat.. but thats not happenin here. this is new to me.

This is what I got so far

low fat cottage cheese
eggs

also i could use a good cereal.. breakfast here is just nasty ..

It sucks cause I'm a junior, and all the people on my floor are geeks, including my roomate. (except the girls ;) )I know there are some good dining halls here but I still don't know shit about campus... if any one goes to the biggest school in western mass drop me a PM :D I could use a hand ..

hey bro good to hear from a fellow school bro. i too am in college right now and food is extrememly hard;

what i do it go to a meat supply place(youll have to call around) and buy everything in bulk; chicken beef TUNA, turkey.... then i cook it all at my house then bring it up to my apt. near my college. by doing this youll save tons of $$, but it does get repetitive i eat tuna 70% of the time and i eat 7-9 meals a day. two cans per meal. before classes i pack 4 meals packed full of ptotein and carbs, and eat between classes or during. its funny to seee everyones faces when they smell the tuna...sometimes i feel bad cause i put them thorugh this every day 3x lol. oh well~

it works well to buy in bulk.

Hey fellas.. I'm almost done with school at this point, but I feel your pain. Almost all the guys in my major that are into bodybuilding just carry around coolers with them all day and like machine said.. eat 3 or 4 meals while they are on campus at or between class. I'm a little timid about carrying a cooler with me around campus as well as a backpack and a gallon of water. Looks like a sherpa. So I just pack a couple of small meals and put em in some little tupperware containers and keep them in my backpack. IE.. Tuna, or a chicken breast, etc.. I have to say tho.. I hadn't thought of going to a meat market and buying meat bulk.. that's a damn good idea. Only wish I'd thought of it earlier. As for me.. I do most of my meat shopping at Wally World! hehe cheap cheap cheap!

Protein bars, supplements, vitamins, powders...........and don't always worry about being super clean, tuff times will occur and you'll just have to adjust, I'm here now.

in college too bro, its hard and i assume you are in a dorm which makes it even harder. As the one guy said if you are close to home coom everything there and pack it cold and that should last ya a few days. I also buy a ton of the packets of tuna and eat a lot of that, which i like the packets cause they dont seem to be as big of a mess plus doesnt seem to stink the place up. As the others said protein bars and powders. I am lucky and usually have a break where i can come back and eat; when i dont i bring a bar to class and always plenty of water. The dining centers are a pain too cause for me anyway they usually are loaded with carb stuff and that is hard cause i am cutting. So i hope each day i can get some beef patties there or fish and then we have chinese so get some green vegetables, brown rice, and chicken. In the mornings i usually have some oatmeal and then you can buy just egg whites but that is expensive, so get some cartons of eggs and get one of those egg cookers you can pop in the microwave. Takes awhile to get everything the way you want and i am sure it is harder at a new school but hang in there and you will start to get a plan down. Good luck bro

ATLEAST YOU CAN HAVE THAT STUFF!!! at my school any appliance is a $2000 fine they even wanted to take my blender awayand there is notone place to buy food near ehre and out caf sucks...great fucking shit for 33k a year

hey bros,

I am in school, well actually I am still on winter break but start up in a few weeks. During this break I work at a food dist. warehouse. Large bulk commodies here, and I would recommend going about this route. Buy 40 pounds of chicken breast at $1.39 a pound that is a good deal... Tuna can come in huge cans and so can many other products. first see if the warehouse takes will call orders, most do... good luck, they carry most to everything....
