It's one thing if George wrote that article himself or paid the author to write it, but he didn't. Therefore, it's not about the cost of platinum, it's about the author's intent of HIS content in the thread.

A link to another website is one thing but actually posting the pic here is another when it comes to bandwidth cost. I have never seen any objections to people posting links to their pics.

You mustn't be on the boards too much. I posted a link to a picture I put up on AOL's server 2 weeks ago and it got moved. I deleted the pic from their server because It was my post, my pic and I refuse to let it sit on a board that I did not wish it to be on where I cannot view any replies from it. Let george start charging for the whole site. I can guarantee people will just go to another site such as anabolic extreme where the contribution of information is encouraged and free of charge.

Ok I've kept my mouth shut on the whole plaitnum thing but for the people that are bitching about not being able to afford $11.97 per month just to afford their juicing habit is just wrong. I think you people really need to re-evaluate your priorities in life.

I have and EF is not one of them. I can afford $11.97/month. That's not the problem. Is what I get in return worth $11.97? Not to me. For a couple bucks more I can pay my phone bill. For the same amount of money I can get a full monthly dial up service from an ISP. I can subscribe to MULTIPLE porn sites. I can subscribe to a usenet service and use 100x more bandwidth than I use here. I can subscribe to a magazine for a YEAR. Or, I can spend $11.97 here.

Personally, I don't think George's pricing model is very good. As a comparison to other pay sites on the internet, EF is incredibly expensive. With a token amount around $3-5/month, I think George would see A LOT more people signing up platinum memberships. I'd love to support the site but I won't be forced into it by having features taken away from me, and I won't support it by spending an amount which I think is unreasonable.

IF YOU PEOPLE DON'T LIKE IT SO MUCH THEN LEAVE.

Why? I like the people here and it hasn't quite gotten to the point where I'd rather go to another site.

OR EVERY ONE OF YOU THAT LEAVE THERE ARE 5-10 PEOPLE THAT WILL JOIN.

5-10 people that will join or 5-10 people that will join and pay for a platinum membership? There is a HUGE difference. Regardless, this site is what it has become because of the people who contribute here. If you shun those people, they will leave. If you lose enough of them, this site will NOT succeed. I can promise you that. There is a limited pool of talented, intelligent, helpful people who are interested in fitness. You lose them, you can't always find more.

So keep on with your petty bitching. No one really cares and you'll end up just like you were before you found this site. Desperate and alone!!!!!!!!

Obviously from the people responding, some people do care. A lot of people on this forum really enjoy EF. They don't want to see it go to hell in a hand basket like it seems lately. Besides, if I get banned, more people leave, whatever, I'll just move over to the next fitness site that pops up to take EF's place.

I appreciate your compliment, earlier, but trashing mustangs...You've gone too far! I'd rather have a mustang any day---even if i'll always be in your rear view. LOL.

Besides, F-bodies are in a different price bracket compared to Mustangs. I'll take a new 2003 Cobra and spank your ass in an F-body (not vette) and do it in style wiht an independant rear suspension. Hardy har har.

If you ask me his biggest mistake was making chat boards and sex boards. Those are the only places where there are any problems and that is only because those boards are the ones that all the immature assholes migrate to.
