I like to get the most nutritional "punch" for the calories I eat, so I stick with raw spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, and tomatoes. I also cut a couple of slices of purple onion into my spinach salad.
BTW, I have a fanatastic dressing that I put on the spinach, it's Boscoli italian olive salad, and it's basically olive oil, ripe and green olives, celery, sweet peppers, and spices. One tablespoon has only 45 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 2g of carbs. It makes plain raw spinach taste unreal!
