I've never seen Klitschko.........whats his record like? I do know that he towers over Lennox at 6'8".

It shows his record as 32-1 with 31 of those wins being knock outs. I too haven't seen much of him but his record is impressive. I've heard that he hasn't exactly fought top notch guys either. It will be interesting to see Lewis bobbing and weaving since Klitscho is taller. I just wanna see someone knock him off his thrown before having to retire b/c there is no competition

Here is the list of who he fought. Note the only "big" name you see is Chris Byrd and he lost to him.

these two guys, vladimir and his brother vitali were supposed to be the up and coming heavyweight stars out of europe. vladimir, the younger one, was supposed to be the more refined and better fighter but he lost i believe three months ago, gettin knocked down 3 or 4 times in the fight before i believe it was eventually stopped int he 3rd round. For someone who was supposed to run through the heavyweights and eventually fight lennox he got run over pretty hard. as for the older of the two klitschko brothers from what is said he is a decent fighter. Neither has the recognition they would normally get since they are both on the european circuit. supposedly vladimir wasnt a ranked contender because he held a european belt.

Gonna be an interesting fight.
Wonder how Lennox will react to a taller opponent.

Didn't Lewis KO 6'7" Michael Grant?

Let's not forget that Lennox has a murderous right hand. He isn't just a jabber.

10 Karma hits on :LENNOX BY TKO IN THE 5TH.
Any takers? Need 10x1 odds...pretty generous.

A re-match was most likely written into the contract. Tyson vs. Jones or Byrd would be interesting.

They talked in the paper today about Lewis's rusting skills, suspect chin & him weighing in at his heaviest for a fight. Sure hope they're not trying to write him off just yet. If he's starts pounding that left jab in there on a constant basis, I think Klitschko may wind up looking like a bloody mess before it's over. Just hope Lewis is in shape.

I love watching the heavyweights go at it. The money those guys get is incredible. Hope it's a good one!

The jab has been effective for him b/c he has always been taller than his opponents. This time it's different. If Vitali can start with the jab, Lewis will have to be the one bobbing. If you say he's at his heaviest, all that extra moving may wear him down. Of course I'm looking for any reason for the guy to lose though b/c I don't like him:D

Did anyone see the weigh in or prefight pics? What kind of shape is Lewis in? If he pulls a Holyfield and gains weight in muscle I don't see how the weight will hinder him. He was originally scheduled to fight Kirk Johnson who is very fast technician for a heavyweight, so I assume he was training for mobility.

#He weighed in at 18 and a half stone..........his heaviest ever. Thats around 260lb.

Vitali's only loss before tonight was a TKO due to a shoulder injury vs. Chris Byrd.

He now has 2 losses, 1 due to injury which he was winning, and 1 due to a cut, which he was winning. That sucks for him.

I hate Listening the Lewis after fights. He's so full of shit it makes me laugh. At least this time he didn't speak with a Jamican accent lol.

Lewis was talking shit before the fight.

Lewis was talking shit after the fight.

He was underprepared and was going to lose, too bad they called it.

Lewis was a little bitch, the interview afterwards was one of the hardest things for me to watch without getting pissed off. All I know is, he got lucky by cutting Kiltschko on the brow and cheek, otherwise, he's be KOed by Kiltschko. I hope there'd be a re-match, would love to see his ass get KOed.

Get off Lewis back and give him some credit..He has fought everyone who was worthy so far abd he proved he is the best as of now.

He was nice enought to give Klitchsko a chance for the title.

He was out of shape but if the fight had continued , Lewis would have prevailed as the Ukrainian couldnt see anything if he hadnt moved his head.

If there is a rematch, Lewis would train his ass off properly and we see that he is the MAN.

Don't be stupid. There's no way you can say that Lewis would have prevailed as if it's a fact.

Listen dumbass--just to be on the same note with you--

Ii is obvious that you know shit about box, so I give you the benefit of being dumb and total ignorant.

If you think that Kiltischko would have won with such a gruesome cut-- that would have hindered hiseyesight-- and would have made imposible to see those punches coming form his right, you must be a fool--for the lack of a better term--.

It is true that he is not the fighter he once was, and his weaknesses were visible to the fans cheering for Klitschko. A rematch is the only recourse for the champion if he wants to restore his credibility.

As for Klitschko, the valiant Ukrainian, he may have lost the fight, but he won the respect and admiration of the entire boxing world.

Wanna bet for a rematch, lover boy?

If you had said, "It is more than likely that Lewis would have prevailed due to the cut that probably impaired Klitchko's vision." Then your statement would have been accurate. You said that he would prevail. Are you a prophet? Please let me know, because if you know future events b4 they occur, I need your advice on several matters.

Except when it comes to predicting the outcomes of basketball series eh? Remember you saying that the Kings would prevail over the Mavericks, even after Webber was injured. I try not to stick my foot in my mouth. But I'm a little older and wiser than you, so your mistakes are due to lack of experience. No big deal.

Older does not equal wiser.

Please stop the hate towards Lennox Lewis.

All your posts are just showing disrespect and hostility towards Lennox Lewis.

The fact is, he is still the CHAMP.

he could have prevailed...He has been in a few dogfights as opposed to Klit where all his wins were KO.

Peace bro. I don't consider you one of the assholes of this board. I did attack you first and although I don't agree with you, I should not have said, "Don't be stupid." I know you are an intelligent person.

Trying to stroke my ego?

As to Lennox Lewis' thread..I have much respect for this man and I still think that he could have won the match if it would have not been stopped by the doc.

If there would be a rematch I bet my house on Lennox...

What really pisses me off is that Lewis, probably the most talented heavy to ever put gloves on, doesn't have any decent competition right now.

Hey boxing fans, what was that metallic thing that the guy in the corner would rub on thier faces? Did it apply a thin layer of vasoline or something?

Be that as it may it was a damn good call and it makes me the HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING KING OF ELITE!

Oh and besides if I was in Vegas I would have bet a parlay of Lewis to win/no knockout so you are doubly wrong.

Why won't they give Butter Bean a shot before the next ex-soviet cannon fodder signs up?

Jesus, who does Lewis fight next? Vladspiksky Valdrnkpfh?

Roy Jones. Jones will win the decision.

GF? LOL!!!

Actually, GF was a beast in his prime.

He was a beast when he knocked out Michael Moorer. I would not be shocked if he came back and beat a few young punks.

Have you seen Lewis fight? I mean, REALLY fight?

GF knows better than to step in with Lewis.

He wouldnt fight Lewis but he could fight Klitschko. Heck both Klitschkos.
