Frankly, I would expect the republicans to do this. They don't really promise to tax the rich and give the poor a tax break.

Both parties will tax the poor more and give breaks to the rich. But the dems have conned the average worker into thinking otherwise.

I'm not saying what they ultimately do is right or wrong, but shit, at least American knows what they're getting with the incumbents.
I have been saying this for years...

Being a good debator (or master debator) is one thing, but its another when you have little to no knowledge of what you are actually arguing about.
Unfortunately most americans are oblivious to the content and definition of the 25-cent words anyways...

Our current government is the most kiss-ass, spineless government this country has ever had.
Sounds like a personally thing to me...

it almost sounds like you are saying it is your government and not ours that is at fault for how you feel and that you should be bitching about them and not us...

Oh wait, that's exactly it.

If this were anyone else making this claim, there'd be a link or at least something to back it up.

But it's Tboy, so it means he heard from someone who saw it on a website.

In case you're too lazy to click the link (cuz it seems you're too lazy to actually research shit before declaring it gospel)

"But Enron's cozy relationship with Washington didn't start there. Documents obtained by TIME show the energy giant enjoyed much closer ties with Clinton Administration regulators than was generally known. Long before Cheney's task force met with Enron officials and included their ideas in Bush's energy plan, Clinton's energy team was doing much the same thing. Drafting a 1995 plan to help facilitate cash flow and credit for energy producers, it asked for Enron's input—and listened. The staff was directed to "rework the proposal to take into account the specific comments and suggestions you made," Clinton Deputy Energy Secretary Bill White wrote an Enron official"

I find it funny that all theses corporations did their dirty work under the Clinton administration, while under the Bush admin they are being prosecuted. A fact that seems to be lost on mainstream media.

PS... nice ownage of Wodin.

You're the new expert in private equity? Welcome. or did Michael Moore teach you that?

I have 25+ JDs here - I know all to well that lawyers will sing whatever song the client wants. But they always sing to the same accompaniment: "who is paying my bills?" Lawyers are never in the game to create wealth - it is antithetical to what they do by definition. So it's not an agenda, it's the way he looks at stuff, that is so unfit for leadership.

If only women were so simple. :)
You know me by now........I am here to bitch about anything related to the admin. :chomp:

Dude, if our government treated your government as its personal bitch you probably wouldn't be too happy about it either. I am doing plenty of bitching about the Australian government - it's still the US government that started this war and a lot of other shit. The Australian government has made itself guilty by association.
