Funny...my last boss was the exact same way, only, he was a man....which leads me to think that a man shouldn't be in a position of power because my last boss was also just too fucking emotional (screamed like baby every time I nicely told him, hell no I will not sleep with you), vinidictive (tried to sabotage my job by trying to assign me crappy work because he is so emotional, luckily, that won't work when you are great at your job and the other managers think he's a dumb f**k too...haha...sooo funny watching him get reamed), and moody(awww...poor baby didn't get his way again!), and dumb as a rock(see all of the above for examples).

Hmmm...now that I take some time out to think about what I just said, maybe what I should have said was I don't think that that particular man should have been in a position of power because he was just a numbnut of person and no one should have to put up with numbnuts. Yeah...that would make more sense than some generalization based on one jackass.

I don't believe in lowering the standards for women. That's a form of discrimination. If a woman can meet the standards that men have to meet then I really don't have a problem. Why shouldn't they be able to fight in combat?

Of course in the real world very few women meet the men's standards in these male dominated areas. That's how they became male dominated in the first place.

I agree with you. Standards were made for a reason. They are the minimum requirements necessary to get the job done. So if you meet them, I don't care if you're man, woman, or monkey, just do your job right. Maybe there are exceptions of some jobs whose standards are biased towards men (i mean other than those requiring a penis or physical prowess), but I honestly can't think of right now...

As far as women being a police officer, fireman, or construction worker, if they are physically capable, and otherwise fit for the job, then let 'em. I don't usally see too many of the female cops sitting in Dunkin Donuts shoving donuts down like peanuts. And as far as a woman not being able to save someone in a fire bec. they weren't physically strong enough...well, I don't know what the requirements are as far as how many lbs. you should be able to carry, but I'm sure that they have met at LEAST the requirement. Humans are also usually capable of greater feats (e.g., carrying a greater amount of weight than usual) while under pressure as in life and death situations.

Also, generally, the women who are strong-willed enough to join in such professions usually have to work harder and be better than the boys JUST to be accepted as one of them.

Can we say OINK! Sexiest pig alert! The right man for the job is a woman! Women can do any job that any man can. My aunt is a cop and she does a lot better than those fat ass lazy cops who sit in their squad car all day eating donuts and drinking coffee. One of my friends here in town just became a female firefighter and she's in better shape than over half of the guys in her firehouse.

my wife even agrees with alot of guys oon this. if a woman is getting shitty about it, she'll say:

"look bitch. if you're my husband's partner as a cop or in battle, he could drag your shot up 5'4" ass out of the way of automatic fire like it was cool. could you even drag him 6 feet? i thought not."

1. Plant worker (not talkin about no engineer/chemist either)
2. construction
3. truck driver..lol

Female boss here, too. She has a reputation for being a moody bitch, big time.

Did you ever have a male teacher in elementary school? It seems like they don't get as pissy with the kids and don't power trip as much, either. I have three (much) younger siblings and they concur.
