it's time for me to list my grammatical pet peeves again.

I've tried to incorporate the use of maths into my vocabulary, but it just doesn't come out right.

They also say anticlockwise instead of counterclockwise.

Bunch of bloody poofters, the lot of 'em.

:cow:

i could deal with anticlockwise.

i can not deal with double negatives though.

makes u wonder wear people went too school.

i get that mixed up a lot.

OH.. crap. i forgot. ORIENTATED.
it's ORIENTED.
don't add an extra syllable!!

Orientated comes up in some dictionaries. Not sure if you can add the -d suffix to orientate, or if it's archaic or something.

EDIT: Orientated: Simple past tense and past participle of orientate.

I've recieved a few comments on the use of compactified and compactification. Apparently words used in math don't sound right to people in normal language (but they sound cool, dammit).

would of. omg. it's WOULD HAVE.

here's a common one I can't even correct anyone on: Going to prom.
does being a senior in high school mean you don't have to use the word "THE"? Prom is not the name of a place, like "Denny's". I'm going to Denny's makes sense. I'm going to Gym does not because it's THE GYM and THE PROM.

"I could care less."
good. then care less. oh wait, you mean, YOU COULDN'T CARE LESS??!!

Lose Loose Breath Breathe. 'Nuff said.

god, i hate all of you.
