its been raining this whole week, its nice. i like the sound of it pounding on my windows and the rumble of thunder, the flash of lightening.

yesterday i chanced it and went out for a jog in the afternoon. i didn't want to miss my chance because for once it wasn't scorching hot out not to mention the usual blazing sun. the sky didn't look all that menacing so i went for it. 20 min jog away from my place and it just started pouring out of no where!!! i mean it wasn't a gradual build up, the sky just opened up and let it all out. i was totally drenched in like 10 seconds. them droplets of rain were taking punches at me, but it wasn't bad, the water was warm and the pounding as soothing in a way. i didn't even jog back home; walking in the rain is definitely something...that is if its not cold rain.

the sound of it is so tranquil, almost intimate. i feel like taking a walk around the block to feel the cool, clean air and mild raindrops on my skin. mmmm the combination of warm rain drops and a nice breeze. i really should sleep, i am feeling pretty relaxed and mellow though.
