Is it pointless to give mods karma?

I`ve given karma to mods. They`re people too. If you appreciate what they say, then show it.

Don't waste it on me, though. I'd rather see you give it to someone you don't know, just because they posted something neat. That's how we get more neat stuff and less of that boring "IN!" "I'm out" "I gotta spread it" crap.

I for one accept karma willingly, there should be no trouble finding a post with a good reason to give it me either ; )
I also noticed how digger had 3 karma dots and now has a whole load of them, perhaps he has been whoring on the side.

If someone doesn't need the full digger treatment(TM) I use the regular K button because it's much more convenient than the admin panel. Mine is turned up so it should give (or take) thirty points or so.
If someone makes me open the admin panel, just multiply that by about ten.
