That's bullshit and you know it. Even if chihuahuas were as aggressive as pit bulls, the damned little "yippy" dogs can't crush a person's skull with one bite. For gods sake, why not just let people have pet lions?

I'm pretty much done here man....... I didn't liken Chihuahua's to Pits. You worry about your family, neighbors etc.... I got it covered over here...thanks.

My house is so full of estrogen at this point.......I say bring on the lion....my wife would whip that fucker into shape with the quickness.

A 120 pound mountain lion or leopard, bottle-fed from infancy, would make a fine pet too.

You said a dog is a dog. Apparently you don't believe your own words. My question is why do you like pit bulls so much compared to other breeds? I'm guessing you are one of these people that thinks owning a big dog makes them a tough guy.

I hope you can live with yourself if one of your dogs kills someone. It might even be one of your own kids.

Anyway, I'm just outraged as this incident happened nearby. Especially since our area has had plenty of problems with these dogs over the past decade.

Exactly. Pit bull fans will say, in one breath, how docile and intelligent and friendly they are, then in the next breath brag about how their jaw strength can exceed an alligator's, in pounds per square inch of force. They get a thrill out of the potential danger that the animal represents, even in its most tame form.

That's the problem I have. These people know in their own mind that their dog is potentially dangerous and they enjoy having a deadly animal. They don't respect other people's safety. The problem is that NOBODY can claim that they have total control over their dog. The dog is going to do what it's instincts dictate. They won't hesitate to turn even on their own masters. My sis owns an American Eskimo which isn't very big and is usually a whiney cry baby, but if you catch him in a certain mood he'll bite people, even if he is familiar with the person.
