I can empty an 870 express with 100% accurate head shots from 20m faster than 99% can empty an auto shotgun going for torso shots so I don't need a sidearm. The Army qualified us on it and it was funny because my weapon was cleared and I was ready to walk off the range before the rest were halfway finished on the firing line. The NCO in charge proclaimed, "Nice shooting John Wayne." I've been downing crows with a .410 and birdshot protecting the crops since I was a kid...hitting a human in the head at 20m is easy.

I could shoot before I could walk which is only a moderate exaggeration..I got my first .22 rifle at the ripe old age of six.
