How much peanut butter do you eat while cutting and then while bulking....

DB,

Most people here are referring to "natural PB" instead of regular PB. For instance, i forgot the brand, but 2 Tbps of natty pb has 7g of carbs and only 2g of fat. Natty pb does not contain trans fats or hydrogenated oil. Check it out!

2g of fat? what brand? even natural pb that i've seen has atleast 12g of fat

First of all there isn't much difference in carbs between natural and normal PB. Maybe 1 gram difference per serving.

And PB is MOSTLY fat, thats why its called peanut BUTTER. A typical serving of two table spoons has the following nutrients.

Calories 200
Fat 16 grams
Carbs 6grams
fiber 2 grams
protein 8 grams

I too am a peanut butter junkie, after scouring my local grocery store for something low fat/low sugar nothing compares. I no longer live in a place where I have a “local health food store”, so I order it online from tree of life. Grab your PB and check out the label in comparison if you have something with better stats please let me know :o).

You might check out the serving size, I know it seems trivial but 2 tsp vs. 1 tsp makes the carbs about the same as usual PB with less fat. I often see that there is an increase in the sugar additive listing for reduced fat. I also keep in mind doing less fat in a day than carbs, combined with other low fat low carb items it balances.

LATER that evening.....................

........DOH, went home and checked appears 2tsp is the standard serving size. I will do a spoon of pb for the midnight snack w/nonfat soy milk if I wake up hungry.

I´ve tried Better 'n Peanut Butter and taste really good! I dont remember very well but I think the low sodium version has a green or black label with yellow cap. I started eating only Better 'n Peanut Butter but I quit when I realize that it has almost double the carbs from regular peanut butter and I dont think that the extra carbs from Better 'n Peanut Butter are complex carbs
