Well, for one, your insurance company has access to all of these 'confidential' notes. They can term it anything they want. There have been more than a few posts from guys that now either can't get medical insurance, or pay through the nose because they are in a 'high-risk' group. All because 'steroid user' was put down in these notes. And that is legal.
I would only tell him the minimum. You can do your own research after that. You can get the numbers from the tests and make your own conclusions of whether or not you are doing ok. Is this playing doctor? I guess. But I think 'playing' doctor is having a PhD and not realizing all the benefits steroid use conveys.
My grandfather right now is having problems recovering. He has no appetite, he is slightly depressed, has no energy, etc. Hmmmmm, I wonder what could help him out? I mean, all of these symptoms sound like low test levels. But that can't be, he is only 84 years old. I could fix his wagon in 10 days with very mild doses of test. But this is not even an option for his doctors.
