I think super high protein diets are over rated...Ive tryed eatting mass amounts of protein and I dont get better results. right now I am bulking and im eatting about .75-1.00g per lb and it seems to be working great.
1 gram of protein per lb. of bodyweight to maintain weight. 1.5-2 grams of protein per lb. of bodyweight to gain weight. All other variables excluded, cals, carbs, fats.
Sounds about right. Although, I can't imagine someone actually asking this question... I think it's in every musclemag out there not to mention the "search" key... oh well... I applaud your correct answer.
I see a nutritionist and she told me I need to take in about 1.3-1.7g of Protein in the beginning of a workout regiment, but to drop it to 1 gram after a few weeks. Now she doesn't know I supplement, if she did she may say I need more.
