How does 50-100 grams of carbs a daY sound ???

Hey guys I was just wondering what you guys thought of this diet I saw in a muscle mag. ITs an extreme carb cutting diet, your only supposed to eat 50-100 grams of carbs a day, coming only from your protein shake and green leafy vegatables or salad at lunch and dinner. While cutting back your carbs you can eat as much protein as you want in steaks, burgers, chicken ect... However your not supposed to stay on this extreme diet for more than a month. Anyway so what do you guys think about it? I know it works cause I did it for 1 month and I lost about 5-10 lbs however some of it was muscle but mainly consisted of fat, I really got pretty cut. I have to admit though i did cheat once a week and eat some carbs on sundays but still not too many. Anyway i just want to see what you guys think and if anyone has done it and had good results let me know? Also is this the type of diet pro body builders use before contest???
 
First, I'd tell you not to take much you read in a mainstream mag seriously-the workout routines are completely made up by the writers, not the pro's real routine other than that, 100g carbs a day is a good idea
 
around 100 gms of carbs a day is pretty good while cutting,and tea,don't believe everything you read in these mags.....
