does squatting wreck the rest of your workout?

maybe my stamina sucks, but after sq'ing i'm almost too crushed to do anymore gym activity...i know some peeps sq as their last exercise but i wanna be strongest at my sq so i do it first thing. goddamn 3 days later and I'm still wrecked, could barely get out of bed this morning...and I've been sq'ing heavy (for a lightweight non-juicer) for a few yrs now. seems like my body just gets distressed, regardless of condition.
am i gonna die?
 
lol. i started back up with 20 rep sets. i did a set with 185 the other day. it was my last leg set. and i could only manage 3 more sets of pull throughs.

I like 5*5 for 4 weeks, followed by 3 weeks of triples and one week of singles.
i think I'm gonna change my philosphy and become a juichead in the next few yrs, that's were the glory is

that's where i've been, 5x5, for a few years now. full squats. doing a set of 20....my legs were pumped up so bad that i couldn't go low after 12 reps. i swear Sq's help your bench.
 
they do say that squats will help increase your overall strength so it is very likely that if your squat goes up, it can/will carry over. i think I read that somewhere, probably on the Richard Simmons board

sq'ing helps your bp by making you alround more of a strongman.
if you could only do one exercise that'd be the one.
5*5 gm's will leave you walking funny for a few days
