Does anybody keep their Flax oil in the frridge?

I just bought a new bottle of flax and it says to keep it in the fridge. I didn't realize my old bottle said the same thing, and I always kept it in the cabinet with all my other supps. Will keeping it at room temperature destroy any of the integrity of the oil?

You will not destroy any of the properties of Flaxseed oil w/ the temperature you present. It's smoking point is a little higher, so room temperature will not affect it, while the cold will not bring out problmes either. I do recommend keeping it in the fridge, for the cold temp. will stave off bacterial buildup and increase the life of the oil.

Keep it in the fridge. It has a fairly low smoking poing and there's no need to risk it. It goes rancid pretty easily and it will taste like ass.
