For me personally - if I can stand you after 5 minutes and not want the first date to end as quickly as possible (or leave through the kitchen) there could be something there and a second date will follow.

I think when there is something special there, it is there immediately. Your heart will race, hard to breathe, all game you ever had has suddenly left you, it is very immediate and undeniable. I haven't felt this way very many times in my life, but it is the only thing that I really want to pursue. Things can definitely come from less instant attraction, but I'm at the point in my life that I am ready to be with one woman forever. I have never been a casual dater, people just end up getting hurt. I don't want to pursue unless I think it could be serious.
