As some of you know, I just got back in the gym and got off my shitty fat gaining no workout lifestle again.
A few years ago I really didn't count fat%, and carbs. I was just so active and just used my head on how much and what to eat. I did eat breads, eggs, fat free cheeze on sandwiches, and I ate a lot of peanut butter in shakes and an bread.
I was only taking in 2000 calories a day and was VERY active. I lost 50lbs in a little over 6 months. I lost a ton of muscle though. This time I'm doing a similar routine with oatmeal, protien shakes, and soon I'll be taking weigh protien instead of so many shakes a day. I'm also taking Xenadrine.
It hasn't been too long, but I haven't lost a pound and it's starting to piss me off. Last time I saw results in 3 weeks. I'm not seeing anything and it's been almost a month. The only difference is I'm taking about 2500 calories a day. I'm doing this so I can hopefully lose more fat and not as much muscle. In my situation it's real tough not to do a lot of cardio. I do about 45 min 3-4 times a week and lift on those days. Whenever I go on those low carb diets, I feel like I'm going to faint.
Am I going about this the right way? I know everyone's body works different, I'm just looking for suggestions.
