Note: "or for administration to an animal accompanying him/her"....this means your doggie needs to be with you.

The problem with this is that custom's agents probably do not know the laws and will most likely take your stuff. Oxycontin has made the news so much in the last year, that it would be considered a habit-forming narcotic. I doubt you would be able to keep that.

The AS is still an open dilemna, some have done it apparently. I just think you would have to a small amount and spend a lot of time, most likley having to see a Customs's supervisor. Vet gear would definitely be seized.

Ok boys this is the final word on this subject.

Read the Customs website - the WHOLE thing.

After reading and understanding what you just read you will quickly realize they can seize just about anything they want. There are so many exceptions and rules it's just about impossible to meet them all.

Yes you an bring back drugs available in the US, but only if they are approved by the US FDA, not simply copies of US made drugs.

Now some people may have success declaring certain items, but I'd bet it has more to do with the individual agent, his knowledge of the law, and willingness to be bothered giving you a hard time.

Very simply: It is illegal to import any Controlled Substances UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. This means that even if you have a prescription for BTG Oxandrin and you filled in France (using a French doctor since USA prescriptions are invalid in France), you cannot import this medication. I have always believed this was more politically motivated than anything else. Oxandrin is the number one seller in France and it is produced by BTG. BTG has a presence in the USA, but it doesn't matter. BTG Oxandrin in France is less expensive than BTG Oxandrin in America.

If you want a list of Controlled Substances, I suggest that you visit the DEA's website and search for the list. As far as enforcing the law, it seems inconsistent--as the example of valium below.

You are wrong check out the customs web site, I talked to a customs officer before I crossed and he confimed it, exept for steroids.

I seem to recall what was said is that you could bring it back, but once inside if you got pulled over you were at risk without a prescription.

Was vet stuff said to be a no-no?

I believe it was Star who said its been done via Texas, give it a whirl on the search.

Yes, all roids excluding those used for vets (unless the animal comes with you. Things considered as narcotics are NOT allowed ask the pharmacist before buy.
