I am paraniod that i am in starvation mode. I am trying to cut right; well i am 5'9 185 Bf% i would roughly be 11-12% (Goal of 8%). I was eating about 2000 Calories per day consisting of 200-220G protein 200 grams carbs and 35g fat. Now i have shifted things around to 230g protein less than 100 grams carbs and 93G fat. 0 Carb after 6 pm except one shake=12g the majority of fat ie.90% comes from flax oil. When i bulk i may only eat 3000-3200 calories i will get pretty chunky while adding muscle if i stay on this course for too long.
The reason for the change in diet is I have dropped from 198 to 185 in about 6 weeks but the progress is starting to slow drastically, now i am concerned that my metabolism is slowing down so i cut carbs to reduce insulin secretion. I am hoping the addition of the fats and the increase of overall calories will boost my metabolism. If a metabolism has slowed, how long will it take to go back to normal to resume fat burning........any thoughts?
