New years I got samenella and lost alot of weight both fat and muscle. After, even though I lost muscle I also lost a bit of fat I was leaner than I was and it rekindled my interest in being very lean. So I decided to cut despite having already lost alot of mass from the sickness. All was going good I went from 185 to 178 with no problems strength was down but that was from the sickness which took me to 180 the other 2IBs I lost w/o any further strength degradation. Now I'm quite lean as is (7%) but I want to hit 6%. I was able to hit 6% before and I don't recall all this strength loss while getting there. I've no problem with stalling on all my weights but reversing is frustrating.
My diet: Is basically a High protein moderate fat low carb with the occasional higher carb day in which I hold fat off. I havn't done any kind of refeed since Cristmas (before cutting before sickness) I'm toying with the idea but I have had the high carb low fat days.
Training is 5 day split: 4 days weights with 1 day being either rest, odd ball things I didn't get around to like abs/forearms or pure cardio. (lately I've been snowboarding on that day)
I don't generally do cardio I remember being a cardio addict when I got to 6% before but Its so cold now I cant get into it unless I can get a good sweat on (the gym is freezing now). So I've been using mainly diet. I do a bit of cardio to warm up before weights and occasionally I do a good amount of it just to keep my cardio vascular edurance decent.
Supplements: EC stack preworkout 20eph 200caf and creatine along with the usualy barrage of multis. I have yohimbe but its not HCL its bark extract 760mg. I used it before when I got to 6% back in summer. I took one a few days ago on leg day and felt like I was going to puke, that could have been do to not eating much before training legs just as much as the bark though. I'm not even convinced on the yohimbe helping read contradictory stuff all the time. So I don't know what to do with it now.
So here I am not quite sure what to try first, right now anytime I lose any more fat strength goes along with it.
