Can you really trust the protein content on the labels

Have any of the protein powders been tested. Which are the bset. Are the generics as good as the name brands. I find it hard to beleive that there are 60mg of protein in the triple threat.

any supplement that has 'dietary supplement' has never been tested for anything by the fda. so basically it depends on if we believe the company or not. for all we know it can be cookie dough. go on the internet and do searches for dietary supplement and you will see what i am talking about. i still use protein powders, but never as meals. usually in between meals or with a meal. the ones i like are designer protein and pro complex. never had any bad experiences with each.

Just stick with the big companies. They're more likely to have accurate labels. If EAS lied on their labels, it would be in every Musclemag for years.

It's an interesting issue and you're absolutely right to doubt about this.

I personnally wouldn't buy from a company who has already failed a lab test (i.e. TT60). You might say that GS has done everything to arrange this error by taking back the bad batches and sending new ones. I would expect a legit/reputable company to test EACH and EVERY new batch BEFORE they leave the warehouse.
Who tells you that the current batches of TT60 are on label-wise?

For example, AST not only tests each batches, they test the raw ingredients before they are mixed together.

Big companies do almost the same. They can't afford to be caught with misleading labels - it would cost them too much.

NO

I don't trust the labels

but small and unknown companies surely lie more than reputable companies
