Bulking food

i'm trying to bulk right now and i just basically eat everything that i can any time i can. Problem is i've been putting on way too much fat, i think i've put on almost 8 lbs in the past month and not much of it is muscle. What types of food do you strictly stay away from even while bulking
 
Depends on how hard it is for you to gain weight. If you're a hard gainer you may have to resort to eating cakes, cookies, icecream, etc. They really need the extra calories. If you gain fat faster you would have to eat a bit more clean as in steaks, chicken, tuna, rice, potatoes, etc. just eat more of it than usual.

Drink tons of milk and eat bread. Even when bulking I tend to stay away from fast food, potatoe chips, sugar(except post workout, which is actually dex). Things like that. Just eat tons of
chicken, tuna, beef, eggs, MILK, COTTAGE CHEESE, steak,oatmeal, potatoes, brown rice, wheat BREAD etc etc. hope that helps.
 
I agree with Diceman on the bread and the dairy, but that's just me. When I was a little younger (I'm 27) dairy in the for of skim milk worked very well for me, but now, I definately avoid too much of it, because I think it gives me a soft look. The rest of the advice here is right on the money. Lots of lean protein, brown rice, eggs, etc. You've got to be your own judge of what works best for you.
