Bulking cleanly?

Well when I bulk... I don't get nearly as big as others.... however
i think thats because I eat super clean...

when bulking I still don't eat bread or drink milk or potatos....

others love these when bulking
 
I weigh only 202 and when bulking I have to eat atleast 4400 calories or I will lose or not gain any weight at all. And it's hard to eat clean all the time. I eat pizza, pasta, taco bell, and McDonalds everyday. I just stay away from the desert table. It all depends on your metabolism. Save the carrots, tuna and broccili for cutting.

I'm the same way, if I don't get at least 4k cals a day, I get smaller, unless I stop lifting.
 
if you can eat 5000cals per day eating clean, then do so; if not all bets are off, and ice-cream and burgers rule the day
 
It is true... during bulking... it gets difficult to truly get 4000 to 5000
calories all cleanly...

I find that the cleaner I eat... the less total calories I consume... even with
6 meals a day
 
And people wonder why they get fat during "bulking." The only difference between a bulking and cutting diet, if you're serious about this, is amount. When you bulk, you eat the same food you do when you're cutting, just more of it. It's different of course if you're juicing.
 
Right now, I am trying to keep it lean and clean... Soon, though, I will start a major bulking period and aim for 4,000-5,000 calories clean... No shit enters this boy anymore. :)
