Best way to go about finding a job in NYC without living there?

depends on where in queens or bk you are, they're large areas. i'm right on the hudson. i take the PATH into work, as it's right outside my building complex. 10 minutes to world trade, 25 minutes total, assuming i don't have to wait for the train. the holland is also literally right next door, if one is driving.

of course, the PATH isn't as convenient as the subway, especially past 11pm (it only comes every 30 minutes), so the outer burroughs can be more convenient in that sense.

JC has 4 PATH stops. since JC is big and has a lot of housing, there's a big range. i suppose you've checked newyork.craigslist.org and newjersey.craigslist.org?

yea checked craigslist and looks like i will be able to make queens, bklyn, hoboken, jc, bronx, all with roommates to save money. I will start looking for something on the subway route and fast to mannhatan and base all other requirements based on that.
