Total Calories don't matter! lol . There isn't a number you need. You calories are based on your goals. So let's say your goals are to bulk, then 4000-5000 calories. Let's say your goals are to cut up then 1800-2800 calories. These are only examples, you must know your own body and metabolism to realize how much calories you need.
It can be 1000 calories or 5000 calories.
40% of tha calories are from Protein, 40% from carbs and 20% from fat.

mean to eat 1600 kcals in form of protein, and that is
around 400 grams of protein. That's too much.
The relation should be rather in this range:
30% protein, 55% carbs, 15% fat.
Do you have any proof that Arnold has constantly praised
40/40/20? I doubt that !

The German
400 grams of protein isnt too much for alot of people.Maybe for you it is. Also alot of guys eat high protein and fat with very low carbs. Its for people with poor insulin sensitivity.
