arnolds word on protein

what do you guys think of this quote I found?
 
maybe,,.....but he had good genetics as well...people like me need to frickin eat 3meals w/ 3 shakes a day or i will get no where in body building:mad:
 
Yeah I tried that 1 gram per 2lbs of body weight program through out high school and college track. All it did for me is make me a skinny ass white kid. I finally decided to raise my protein to 1.5 grams per 1lb of body weight, that's when I finally started to see changes from my workouts. :D :D

i agree w/ liquidmuscle. i believe i have pretty good genetics, too ...but, i have to eat alot to gain any quality muscle.

That's a Bullshit Quote, Arnold would never said that.

Arnold Has Always Preached, 40% Protein, 40% Carbs, 20% Fat.

Even in his Encyclopedia he says AT LEAST 1 gram, 1.5 if you can.
 
Come one, 40/40/20 is bullshit too !!!!!
That is not enough carbs and too much protein and fat.
If you eat 4000 kcals a day during a bulking cycle that would
mean to eat 1600 kcals in form of protein, and that is
around 400 grams of protein. That's too much.
The relation should be rather in this range:
30% protein, 55% carbs, 15% fat.
Do you have any proof that Arnold has constantly praised
40/40/20? I doubt that !

Proof? There's no such thing as proof when we are talking about what people preach.

Anyways, so you are telling me that 400 grams of protein is too much? LoL.

40/40/20 is probably the most RELIABLE method that will work for ALL goals, whether it's bulking, cutting, or maintaining.

Most nutritionists suggest a 40/30/30 mix. I suppose you know more than them, too. And Crum Cake just stated his source of info. Try reading next time.
