Are my goal realistic??????

My goal is to loose 1 pound of fat per week for 20 weeks, my stats 20 years old, 196lbs, 20%body fat and been training for 3 years. Here is my diet:

Meal 1. Oat meal and a low carb protein shake
Some kind of ECA
and flax oil

Meal 2. 6 Oz fish or chiken breast
One medium potato
ala


meal 3. 1cup low fat cottage cheese
6 oz chicken brest
eca & ala

Meal 4. Low carb protein shake
with flax oil


Meal 5. 6OZ chicken or fish
1 cup vegetable
ala

meal 6. Low carb protein shake

It looks realistic to me. The calories actually look too low (I didn't do the math). How many calories per lb per day is that? I think you will lose more than 1 lb of fat per week for the first several weeks. Make sure you do cardio to accellerate fat-burning and lift heavy to retain as much muscle as possible.
 
You won't have any problem if you are doing cardio 6x per week.

I went from 20 - 10% in half that time. Getting below 9% on the other hand..... :mad:

Looks good to me but dieting for 20 weeks is a long time but with cardio 6 days a week u may not have to diet that long
 
Yes, he could go faster than 1 lb/wk. 3+ hrs/wk of cardio is over 2k calories/wk. You wouldn't have to adjust your diet very much to drop 2 lbs/wk.

It sounds like you are somewhat new to cutting. Let me advise you to start off slow for a week or two and slowly decrease calories. You'll retain more muscle, feel better and ultimately lose the fat faster because of better control.

Try starting with a baseline diet that keeps you at maintenance. Basically, "Clean up" your diet, formalize it to 6 meals per day and then start cutting carb and/or fat calories.
 
Im in the prosess of tring to do the same,but i like to seperate my carb and protein meals.I eat 6+ times a day but with only 2 carb meals aday.I also keep my cal. around 400 per meal.I do cardio when i first get up then 1st meal is a carb meal.Im 185 lbs when i started and im maintaining my body weight and the stomach is flatting and im getting vascular.I think if you follow your diet and do some am cardio you will get what your looking for.Best of luck bro.

Yes I'm new to a cutting diet, When I started training I weight 135lbs and 13%body fat, my goal was too put has much mass that I could, for the first year I was at 170 at 19%body fat, and for the last 2 years I treid to put mass without too much fat.

I tried The anabolic diet from Moro Dipasquale last year and I just got fater.

The problem with me is that I have tick skin, every time I get my body fat tested the guy at the gym say the test result are way off. Do any of you guy's know how to decrease my skin tickness?

there is no need to ALA with meals that contain no or little carbs. it only has a prominent effect with consumed with high GI/GR carbs or large amounts of moderate GI/GR carbs...

the calories look low and so does the fat intake. check your macros and cals
