...I would really like to know some more info about Alaska and the base there...I was told they have a Ranger Company assigned to the Airborne Bn there so if anyone has any info about them as well please feel free to pass it on or send me a Private msg
Hi Chris, glad to hear all is going well. Get those pushups right now, back straight, lower that body all the way down, lock the arms out, butt down, you know the drill! Make sure the grader is counting the first few before you start ripping them off. You'll be doing 80 of them in two minutes before you know it.
As far as Alaska, no Ranger company there. But there is a Separate Infantry Brigade with an Airborne Battalion. Keep those orders because that's where you'll go if the RIP thing falls thru for any reason, and Alaska is a GREAT assignment from all I've heard over the years. If you go to Alaska I'm sure that you'll be an RTO in an Airborne Infantry Company, and you'll love it.
Go ahead and volunteer for RIP though, if you're accepted, they will tear up the Alaska orders.
I'm training for 31U....ttlpkg my company 1st sgt was telling me that 31U's are getting higher priority for Airborne assignments and RIP dates so hopefully it will all work out. My back is still screwed up a bit but I'm still working through it.
Hello Again...All is well, and the back is getting better....I've been able to get some weight room time in recently so hopefully I'll be able to keep a steady schedule up. I hope here is doing well and getting in some good workouts...
Howdy do...well another week has gone by and I still haven't picked up a laptop...This past week we started a class on CISCO routers and on Tuesday we test out of it...Needless to say the class is WAY short and I along with 98% of my class will be in danger of getting a no go
Did you ever get that push up prob worked out? It sounded like you were leading with your head. Keep your head still and it'll hold your back straight. Good Luck.
