Well things are going ok here...I've been here 1 month and will finally phase 2morrow after I take my 3rd PT test in 2 weeks.

The last 2 I have failed due to technicallities on my pushups...Grant it I thought both times I was close to maxing them out but was told just before time ran out that I was doing them incorrectly...I have a strained lower back to show for it but am Highly motivated since I was assured by other Drill Sgts that I was doing them correctly....Go figure....

Classes are going well and I should take my Windows 2000 test on Tuesday...Oh NO!!!!I hope this doesn't get any harder(feel the laughter) I still am mainting a 100 so depending on how my 2 part test is this comming week I have a good chance of gaining the top spot in my class all alone.

For those in GA Next weekend I should be allowed to roam wild since I believe it's a 4 day weekend for Easter???

I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I will get my laptop soon so I can start hitting this place up again with the Night Crew!!

something to ask to military and prior service memembers...Have any of you been to or stationed at Ft Richardson Alaska??Some how I got orders to go there but they didn't mention about going to the 501st Airborne Bn there or anything reguarding when I would go there since I'm volunteering for RIP

Did you enjoy the time there or have you heard anything about that base???

I did a tour at CFS alert (Northern most point of Canada). It was a very enjoyable experience.

Best of luck to you, and becoming a Ranger.

Push-ups: I went to a poolee meeting for the Marines last night. One "Marine Corps" push up equals 2 regular pushups.

We went running at the end of the training. I busted out an 8 min mile, and haven't run in months. Damn proud of myself.

I got my enlistment day pushed up. So on monday I'll be Poolee Rex.

nice to see you back again :)

hope that lower back is doing well.....will it take long to heal?

The back is just a Strain and some back spasams...I'm just taking some aleeve and doing some light stretching throught the day...I'm sure it will do ok for my PT test but I'm not going to be pushing it hard into the gym till it loosens up some...3 days maybe if I dont push it too hard this weekend

well I'm out...time to go shine some boots and go to bed....I'll try and get on 2morrow to check out the comments here...I would really like to know some more info about Alaska and the base there...I was told they have a Ranger Company assigned to the Airborne Bn there so if anyone has any info about them as well please feel free to pass it on or send me a Private msg
