Honestly I haven't played much video games in the last two years........the current consoles did nothing for me. But looking at this game I really do think this is going to be something special. The open ended gameplay looks amazing. You can actually go anywhere you want. You can walk for miles across the desert if you so choose. And the graphics look superlative. I havne't been this cued on a game in some time...........although that new bond game does look kind of right. But I've been burned by pretty much all bond games since goldeneye, so I'll hold off till someone else I know plays it.

Alright dude, get over yourself.......some of us like to play video games every now and then, so what? I spent the last 11 months getting over a serious illness while writing a book I just got published......so I've played NO video games in well over a year. I've never played world of warcraft or any of those life consuming online games.........so I'm pretty comfortable with my likeing of video games and how they don't run my life. We all have hobbies. In a couple months I'll probalby have my yoga accredidation so I'll be teaching intro classes in that........pretty sure my life has some decent rounding to it, so pardon me if I'm not chasing trim hard anymore. I'm 31 now and have grown up a bit and realize having a woman in your life is "usually" more of a hassle than anything else........so I hold out for a good girl.......which if you haven't noticed are few and far between.

PC version. If you're playing in 1680x1050 or higher you'll need one of the last couple latest Nvidia or ATI cards and preferably a quad core. I'll give more details tomorrow when I have some time. The game is sweet and a must play on PC.

I should be able to play on medium to high. Definately not max.

I do meet the recommended requirements.

Some independent developer is remaking Goldeneye using the Source Engine that's in Half Life 2. Goldeneye....on PC....using the Source Engine.....that's like Homer Simpson's Holy Grail of doughnuts. Lets just hope they know what they're doing.

lmao true true. Why not have both tough? You know the point of videogames is being able to do what you may or may not be able to in real life, without the repercussions; ie jail, bankruptcy, disease, death, etc. Wait, no etc after death unless it's heaven.

Yes I get it, and I sense your concern, haha. For as much as I talk videogames on here in a typical week I'm lucky to average an hour's worth of playing time a day. Why? Because I don't have time for it between work and a gf, which should be obviously more important than any hobby. This is why I stay away from WoW and online gaming in general. It can be addictive, which is probably a big part of why Microsoft is doing so well in the console industry.
I still think that in any case of misuse or addiction, it's foolish to place blame on the thing, vs the user. Kinda like the gun control argument. If a person, husband, etc. is weak enough to let something consume him, then I see it as a sign that he wasn't good enough for a mate to begin with. If other loners would rather spend all their time doing so, then I say let them, as long as it doesn't negatively interfere with anyone else.

The way I see it is very guy needs some alone time, and to me videogames are a simple, efficient, and therapeutic way of spending it. I can only run around outside for so long, especially during the winter months in MI.

Look at that, I've already been typing too much for now. I gotta go get my clothes outta the dryer.
