3g of carbs before bed bad?

LoL! This thread is Idiotic.

Who ever tha fuck said 3 grams of Carbs will Hinder your gains needs to realize that spending $300 bucks a week on Crack is soon going to destroy his life.
 
Gentlemen, we were all newbies once. Be nice. SSJ does ask a lot of questions, but at least they are specific. He's not like all the other newbies on here asking shit like, "How do I lose 20lbs in three days?", or, "I need a new diet, please help!!"
 
I'll bump this one up for SSJ-Hawk. Ya know the world has truly gone crazy when new dieters are obsessing about 3 grams of carbs! In many respects, whey protein may be worse than carbs. But once again, there is no reason to lose sleep over it!. Just stick to your diet. If it isn't working then please consult (one on one) with a professional dietician or highly qualified personal trainer. Carbs are not the enemy. Excess calories are the enemy. For 95% of the population (prolly more) this is all you need to worry about right now.

This statement isn't correct what so ever. Even though 3 grams of carbs won't hurt him before bed, it will hurt him if he eats in excess. What you are saying is that if he needs 2500 calories to maintain and 1000 of those calories come from carbs and he has only eaten 500 calories of carbs throughout the day your saying it's alright to eat the remainder of your 500 calories of carbs right before bed because he didn't go over his limit yet? That will get you fat as hell. When cutting keep carbs at 10grams or less after 6PM period...eat most carb calories in the day.
 
also better to eat a blended protein drink instead of starighht whey. Whey absorbs quickly and the blended drinks (like ISS M3 my fav) has casein and egg for more of timed release of protein. Not actually a release just your body breaks it down at different speeds. Good Luck on your diet. Don't sweat 3 grams. Hell thats an eight ball but that is another thread all together......LOL
