I am around 170lb right now about 11%BF. I read the artical simple guide to bulking that says 2grams protine per lb of lean body mass. and about 3200cals per day. Have noticed damn big jump in strength in the past 2 weeks but do not want to become a blimp in the next six. I am taking Aminogen and 2 mulit vitimans a day with a SHIT LOAD OF FIBER. Was wondering if any body has any good advice? Should I keep this up or go down a little on the protine. So far results have been pretty good.

Stick with it man. I was in your same position a couple of years ago. What i did was eat high protein (alot of red meat, tuna, cottage cheese, chicken, turkey, shakes) ate alot of carbs also but the trick is to eat clean mostly from oatmeal, brown rice, potatoes. When i was at 170 lbs i was eating about 4000 calories but clean. I also lifted really heavy for a guy my size. I didn't care, i'd just slap the weight on and made sure i could use great form for at least 6 reps. 2 years later i'm at 195 lbs, with about 11%BF and going to do my first cycle to finally break through a plateau. I've added a good 20 lbs muscle in 2 years. EAT EAT EAT. If you workout hard you won't get fat.

Remember that body weight and lean body mass are two different numbers. Make sure you're measuring correctly. There is such a thing as taking in too much protein.

Good looking out dude. I have never eaten this much protine in my life but it seems to be working. I dont touch simple carbs like pop. Mabey one regular pop a week. My main simple carbs probably comes from the shitload of protine bars I eat. Most of the cals are coming form Lean steak,Chicken, tuna,Protine shakes most carbs come from high fiber cereal. A Powerlifter friend says fiber helps protine do its job and makes it more effecent. My deadlift went up 10lb from the last week and I added 2 reps on top of that so I will stick with it.

You'll be fine. Just remember that when you are eating over your maintenance calories that you will almost always gain fat so don't freak out over a little pudgeness. If you are gonna overdo any macronutrient, it might as well be protein. I say a range between 1.2 to 1.7-2.0 is fine. Have fun and let us know how things work-out.:)

Me = 3600 cal per day with ~1.85 g protein/lb at 165-170lbs. I'm not cut, but I have my abs and actually should probably eat more. Try it, give it time and see how it works. Diet changes usually don't really show up on the waistline until about 2 weeks later.
