Quarantine weights - 50s from 100s

Since I can't get to a gym, I have limited access to weights. Im used to working with the 100 - 110 lb dumbbells for bench. All I have are 50s. I'm doing sets of 25 for between 100 and 200 reps, with push-ups up to 200 a day. Is this lowered weight with higher reps going to help me hold onto muscle? I've never had to drastically go down in weight this much, but I'm stuck. Advice?

It definitely will be better than not lifting at all as far as maintaining muscle. You may ne triggering different types of muscle fibers with that amount of volume though.

its good that you are mixing it up... it shocks your body and gives you a much better chance to get muscle growth...

If you are doing that and eating enough you aren't going to lose muscle. It is actually much harder to lose muscle than people think. It is just a fear we all have because of our lifestyle.
