What do you think about the training advice where if you want to cut down you should do high reps and faster sets vs. If you want to bulk up and get stronger you should do low reps and slow sets? Someone told me this today at the gym and seemed to make sense, but not sure if its true or not
 
If you want to cut down and get lean the best way is high reps low weight like max out your pumps and a lot of volume is good

If this was true the faster sports would have athletes which are super lean. Diet works better
