The POST -- Post Cycle Therapy Plan.

Nelson Montana

Everyone knows that proper PCT is a part of any steroid users lifestyle. At times, I think it's often overrated though. Too many guys think it's a sure fire fix, no matter what they've done. ("Hey, I'll stay on Tren, Deca, drol and a gram of T a day, BUT I'M COOL CAUSE I'LL BE DOING PCT!!!") Sorry kids, doesn't work that way.

PCT begins before your very first shot.

There was even a time when nebies would ask, on this very board, how much anti e to take and the resident guru fools would respond with advice in the vein of "you can't take too much. Better to be safe than sorry" Thankfully, those days are gone.

I will be recommending some supps here, some mine, some others, some you can just pick up at any health store. So here goes.

Okay, so your PCT is on point but another overlooked factor is that PCT is still using drugs. And whenever drugs are used there comes a time when the body must take over for itself. Think of it as using antibiotics to prevent an infection. The drugs kill the bug, but afterward, your natural immunity system must take over. Use the antibiotics for too long and it becomes compromised. You're weaker than ever and susceptible to the very thing you were trying to avoid. If you want to be a serious bodybuilder, the body must be strong at all times.

There are FIVE aspects to POST PCT that need to be addressed.

#1:Recovery of the HPTA

#2: Loss of size

#3: Loss of libido

#4 Loss of strength

# 5 Catabolism

Number one has been addressed. Rest, diet, supps, proper training, etc. This is just a reminder not to overlook this basic step.

Number two is huge. This is why guys use creatine PC, to replace the water loss from the cessation of gear. But water is just a part of it. Blood volume is the other. For that, I designed VIGOR. It's unlike any of the so-called blood volumizing products on the market. If you get a chance, check it out.

Loss of libido. Yeah, having a dead dick is a lousy feeling, but beyond that, , libido is important to T production. When you're horny, you product more T. Contrary to common thinking, long periods of celibacy does not make you hornier. It shuts you down. It gives the signal to the brain that there's "nothing there for you." You know what it;s like when you first start dating a new hot girlfriend. You're at it all the time and the more you do it, the more you want it! T levels SOAR! And not to put the cart before the horse but you have to "perform" if you want to get this feeling back. Practice makes perfect. :) Of course, viagra is a huge help here but a double dose of POST CYCLE and UNLEASHED (available at the EF store) works like 50 mg of Viagra for a fraction of the cost.

Loss of strength: For this, you need extra sleep. VERY important. But when you hit it, hit it hard. A great pre-workout formula is protein factory's ZIP and my boy Omega's AMP 02. Good stuff. BIG BLAST is excellent post workout.

Catabolism. Personally, I think this is an overused catch phrase left over form the 90's. Catabolism isn't that big of a deal unless you're under tremendous stress. Phospatdylserine has been shown to be good against catabolism, as well as zinc, B12, Acetyl L Carnitine, Beta Glucan and Omega 3's. A good multi like DX7 is a must. And PP has some new stuff you may want to look into to help prevent muscle breakdown PC.

That's it. No sense doing a cycle and then losing most of it. And PCT is just the FIRST step. Bodybuilding is an ongoing process. It doesn't just occur while on cycle. Make gains continual and keep enthusiasm high year round.

Now get your ass to the gym. Your legs can use some work.

Good thread makes alot of sense. I really like this part.

It seems like to many bro's just want to lift hard when they are ON. It is a continual process, and you can do alot between cycles to set yourself up for your next great cycle.
Between cycles is not a time to slack of in the gym and drink, and eat bad food, and lose most of what you gained. It's a time to be vigilant, and smart and eat and train hard, and sleep, and set yourself up so that you can go into your next cycle refreshed and ready to take it to the next level.

Dead on as always from Nelson.

I know guys who only work out when ON. Real mullets...

The funny thing is, the guys who only work out when on, rarely look like much.

The majority of solid muscle is built naturally. The gear knocks it up to another level.

Using gear too often is like practicing a sport on adrenaline and then performing it without. The enhancement is being used in the wrong way.

Even with advanced BB's, it's tough to go back to training naturally after being jacked. But these days, with some of the supps mentioned, the transition isn't so bad and feels almost like being on.

great read some of your best work nelson. Thanks bro.
