I have some needles that are about 2yrs. old...

They have been in the attic, subject to hot and cold. They don't expire for 3 more months. Will it be safe to use them or should I get new ones?

i dont know what your payin but where i live they are like 60 cent for barrel and needle
surely you will drive past a chemist tomorrow? id get new ones just for piece of mind

Attic or warehouse shelf ... all the same.

What matters is being sterile.
Are they?
They are still in the package...and yes, they are sterile...

They do have an expiration date but it's in sept.

You are good to go.

One minor problem I could see is that the prolonged temperature abuse may render the rubber in the plunger stiff and cause it not give good suction.

Can't they become contaminated if they are thrown around in an attic for instance? They get moved from box to box and small holes may develop in the packaging...

I think it's a bad assumption to assume they are sterile just because they are still packaged. What if the packaging is compromised?

I would throw them away
