I am new to this site. I used to work out regularly, and even with consistent working out 4 days a week, I still had 24% body fat. (40 years old). I don't build muscle easily, and I really want to build muscle! A few years ago I blew out my knee and had serious problems with surgery, and I have not worked out since. I just had my body fat measured today and i was 30% body fat and I weigh 140 pounds. I'm 5'8". The trainer told me I needed to gain 11 lbs of muscle and lose 10 lbs of fat to be in a healthy average range. I guess that would be a start. I have a doctor who just ordered me HGH and I am going to start 2 IUs a day. Will this help me build muscle at all? Or will this just give me energy and provide "anti aging" effects? I need to get back in shape, but it seems i have a VERY long way to go and I'm wondering if there is anything i can do to push me along and help me get results faster. Any advice?
