ways of eating raw meat ??

so how much time should i marinate the meat in lemon or lime so i can eat it 100% sure that it has no bacterias or parasites??

what are you? a dumbass? what's the appeal of eating bacteria laden food? just to say you did it? and who will you be telling this to? an internal medicine specialist?

A lot of flavor in raw marinated foods, it is never 100% free of anything even when you cook it with heat. As long as you buy from reputable store, don't use ground beef(use ground sirloin) it is fine. I like my raw beef mixed with raw egg yolk and topped with capers and onions on rye bread, eat it all the time and never sick. Make sure all food is cold, chill the bowl your gonna use in freezer before mixing, and put back in fridge right away. Make sure it is 40 degrees f or below when you eat it. The fish is better with the citrus juices, the fish needs to be completely covered with juice(a little jalapeno helps too)

I eat raw fresh tuna & salmon all the time and I have never gotten sick. I eat sushi and get my fish at reptutable places. I love it in the summer. I've never done the lemon juice thing ... I will give that a try.

I lived in Japan for 3 years and they have this dish that is very good but to most would seem like an infection invitation...It is raw beef with a raw egg on top placed in a bowl with chopped and sliced cucumber, sesame oil, and another kind of sauce then you mix that with a fork and eat up...It is really good...I had doubts about eating it at first but the way I saw it was that Japanese people have been eating it for probably hundreds of years and is the healthiest country on the planet...Have eatin it probably a half a dozen times and never got sick...I have also eaten raw horse which most would find cruel maybe but it was bad either...Anyway, just thought I would share my cents...

You can also "cook" seafood such as shrimp, scallops, white fish with citrus juice - just marinate the seafood in the juice & after a period of time (like and hour or so) the seafood will "cook."

yep, it's called ceviche
