water retention advice

although salt isn't necessarily bad for you due to it being a necessary electrolyte/nutrient we need, it will cause water retention

the main problem is people eat a lot of salty foods, which are awful for them. things like processed meats, processed foods, etc are loaded with tons of salt
 
Somebody correct me if im wrong plz, but i believe consuming too many carbs can can cause some water retention as well.
 
Water retention is usually from not drinking enough water.

Water is the most precious resource in the human body. If you restrict it, it'll hold onto it as a defence mechanism.

Strive to drink 5-6L of clean water each day as a minimum
