Soya Sauce with rice?

I know It contains alot of salt.. but would a tablespoon on soya sauce be ok to add some spice to the rice? I drink alot of water throughout the day... so I thought it would flush it away pretty easily.. Is that true?

Keep in mind this is for a cutting cycle.. I dont wanna add anything I shouldn't.

Thanks

Yes. I use soy sauce in place of teriyaki sauce with chicken and rice. You're right, for the sodium content alone, it's not ideal. But I really don't think a tablespoonfull or so will make much difference.

you have salt and a bit of carbs in soya sauce

You could also try fish sauce (Nuoc Mam) - it is vietnamese
it is full of good quality protein (but with a lot of salt)

If a tablespoon of soy sauce is the only extra salt you're adding to an otherwise low salt, unprocessed diet, then it's fine.
