I love them but am tired of coughing up the $ to get them made. It is usually a treat for me once a week but does anybody got any good recipes for a good smoothie. What makes there's so good?

thanks

Here's one I like:

Chop up some ice cubes in the blender....add 1 scoop Vanilla Protein powder, Glutamine if PWO, 1/2 cup skim milk + 1/4-1/2 cup water (or use all water) and about 1/4-1/2 (3 oz) frozen peach slices (or strawberries)....Blend up & enjoy!! :p

In a nutshell it helps you tih recovery and i do notice im not as sore as usual the day after a workout if i use it

Nice one. I have never used glutamine before. Did you find it helpful and what more does it help?
thanks

I use it in a shake PWO if I'm having one.....you can get it in a powder or pill form....It aids in muscle recovery & yes, I do find it helpful - I'm not as sore the next day......

1/2 C strawberries (frozen)
1/2 cup apple juice
100g fat free vanilla yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protien powder

blend it all up.

Sometimes in the morning i have all blended, tastes good :)

24g whey isolate
300ml skimmed milk
100g Strawberries
Half a Bannana
1tsp Flaxseed oil

My favorite lately = Cheesecake

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (added glutamine and creatine in mine)
2T Monin sugar free coffee syrup in white chocolate http://www.moninstore.com/sugarfrees.php
1/2 small container of plain low-fat yogurt frozen
2 packets of splenda
ice
water

Tastes like cheesecake to me. I like cheesecake to much to mix a strawberry or cherry, or blueberry, in to make it strawberry cheesecake, cherry cheesecake, or blueberry cheesecake. I'm sure you could add graham crackers in it too...
Another thing you can add is 1T sugar free smuckers strawberry, raspberry, or apricot jam.
