Refeeding during cutting diet???

What exactly is this all about? Iv read a ton of posts with poeple sayin this will give better results than strict dieting. Please outline refeeding as detailed as possible. THANX
 
A cutting diet means your in a calorie deficit, eventually your body starts to resist the weight loss. If you start to eat normally again for a few days or a day you wont put on a ton of weight but your body wont be trying to spare everything you eat. Its the same reason you have to cycle things. Pretty much its just cycling your eating.

How often do i refeed? When i refeed do i eat MORE of the healthy clean diet im on, or do i have a free for all day with anything i want? Is there a limit in calories or anything? My calorie needs for my size is 3277 cal/day.
 
refeed one day during the week - Sat works well for me....no limit - infact you should try to eat well above you cutting caloric klevel
 
You can also go to google's misc:fitness:weights groups and do a search for refeeds there - Lyle McDonald and Elzi Volk post a lot there and they have the low-down on them - Lyle really knows his stuff. Also, just do a search for refeeds on Elite - there's a TON of info on it here.

Just remember - keep fat low and eat like about 500g carbs or so - it depends on your size and the length of the refeed and your level of bf and the length of time you've been dieting.

refeeds - cram down the ala - 500 grams of carbs = 2-3 grams
