red bull as fat burner

Hey guys,
I have taken sugar free red bull before cardio and I lost about 4 pounds in two weeks, do you think this progress has been made from Redbull and it's ingredients or it's from exercising. my diet didn't change much I eat everything I want but less of what I used to.

The weight loss you experienced was from the cardio you started doing. First off, congrats on the weight loss!

Red bull (and all energy drinks for that matter) are basically just flavoured caffeine drinks. Caffeine is good for cutting appetite but it isn't a fat burner.

If you want something to start burning fat, look into cardarine -> http://www.evolutionary.org/cardarine/
Cardarine will directly increase fat loss, endurance and recovery.

The workouts are just a small part of the equation. Diet is just as important, if not even more important. I always use this analogy -
Look around your typical gym. Everyone is pretty much doing the same exercises. Everyone is training at least remotely hard. Why do some people look good but the majority dont? It's what they are doing outside of the gym - their diet.

Here is a great article for you to read that explains how to set up a carb cycling diet for fat loss -> http://www.evolutionary.org/forums/supplements/carb-cycling-exposed-trevor-44776.html

Nah, redbull barely gave you any results that you achieved.

The fat loss comes from caloric deficit and physical activity. Not from the energy drinks.

You should give the credit to yourself for doing the cardio and not the Redbull!!!

You might see some short term benefits in the way of increased metabolism but long term it is not going to be good to abuse stimulants.
